Will a 5 speed stumpy box fit straight back in were a 1600 4speed came out of.

Thanks for that .I have the car set up for a 4 speed so I tryed a dog leg 5 speed long box , to much work to fit it so I want one that will go straight in so I dont have to alter the rear mounts again.

hahahaha i was just asking the same question.

you got a 4 speed you want to throw out baldy?

what did it come out of originally and what model gear box is the 4 speed, im on the look out for a freebie/cheapie.
