The time has come! I am going to go for a class A warm rebuild. I will be up the original motor. I haven't done a private rebuild on an A series in about 15 years so I figure there may have been some impovements in components of late. I would like to hear your recomondations on components and machinists in either Toowoomba, Brisbane or Gold Coast. I am interested in making increases in comp ratio to 10:1, Induction, Exhaust, Cam, lubrication(pump) and ignition. My target is soft enough to drive every day and for my kids to drive but have a little something to put a worried look on a log ford or holden owners face Any tips will be appreciated.

re lubrication - there are plans around on 1200.com somewhere for using L series oil pump components into an A series housing to up your oil flow rate significantly.
