Does anyone know where i can find a steering wheel bush?( the one that goes behind the steering wheel, at the top of the steering colum) having trouble finding anyone that sells them, any help will be appriciated

you can get them from nissan.

I know this comes up quite often,and i mentioned it years ago but...you can make one with relative ease.
Purchase a small piece of nylon/acrylic round stock from someone like Mulford Plastics,if it's diameter is to big gently grind round in a circular motion with a bench grinder til it fits in the steering shaft,now drill the centre hole,then cut off the length req'd to finish the new bush.

Simple as,and it cost me $5.00 for the acrylic stock and about half an hour in time

i had a look on wiki and noticed that it states that the newer models have a different set up, i have an '85 model ute is this considered a different setup? i'll have to ring a local nissan dealer and inquire about it
