hey guys i just spoke to our family engine builder about a ca18de, i asked him if i could get 200hp with forged internals, haltech ecu and a set of extractors ( i'll be on my green p's soon so thats y i have to run it asporated and with minimal mods) he said thats about right and he said not to waste my time with 50 or 60 shot of nos it will handle a 100 shot with forged pistons, does this sound bout right

i mean to be rude but i think you need to have more driving experince before you can think of driviing a car that is light and and has that type of horse power

learn how to tune before you fit the nitrous or you will end up with a sump full of shrapnel.
just fit the stock de and get used to it first.
you will get to debug your conversion before you step it up.
nitrous can be expensive to refill too, its not legal to carry in a confined space ie: a car due to safety issues if you have a leak. use it only on race day

so since when is nos more legal than a turbo?

so just to get this right, your wanting 200hp with a 100 shot....so your wanting 100hp from it without nos? or are you wanting 200hp before the nos

they are supposed to be 90 something kw stock so shouldnt be too hard to detune it to 100hp

not more legal but hideable.
ive seen v8 manifolds with nozzles and solenoids underneath and the lines running inside radiator hoses. they used to fill nascar chassis with nitrous (no bottle) till they got caught.
i think if you have no bottle in the car the plumbing is ok (easier than removing a turbo)

lol 200hp aspo THEN 100 shot on top equaling 300hp, and the reason i say "legal" is because i can drive it aspo daily but wen i need to race i just connect the bottle and its ready to run

just so you know a 100 shot of nos doesn't always mean you will get 100hp at the wheels out of it
