On the hinges are the striker plates still attached and do they have the rubber stoppers on them ? Also how far forward is the bonnet and have you adjusted the spring tension on the catch as you do it up tighter and shut it it will pull the bonnet down which in turn will cause the bonnet to lift at the rear. How are your Gaps and if there good check if you have bolted it on with the hinges leaning to left or right cause it may look lined up but if the hinges have a lean then it will actually be off when it seats. Sort of hard to explain these things would be easier to be there. we have made spacers and put them between bonnet and hinges in the past to allow the bonnet to sit higher in the rear.

didnt look too bad, but spacer blocks will fix it properly.

Also use the seals like we talked about. will sit it up a little bit so the stopper is not on the sil panel hole bit
