Funny, Ive searched here but didnt find anything about it, Here in South Africa we dont get A15's so when i built my imported A15 motor to race spec I used a nice shiney new A14 OEM pump (dont even ask how much it was!!! cost more than the motor), got the motor running open header and everything sounded fine till i finnished up the exhaust and heard the terrible knock... stripped whole motor apart to find all bearing ectr all in perfect condition but a nice smashed oil pump drive.

Might be worth putting in Wiki that the A15 and A12/4 oil pumps are not fully interchangeable unless you change the drive gear, the A15 pump drive is about 1.8mm shorter and is beveled slightly to clear the conecting rod on the longer stroke a15 crank.

Ohh well, one nicely smacked apart ARP rod bolt to add to the dammaged bin.
