Thin headbolt placement.

hey guys, i had a snapped head bolt, im putting the bolts back in, now,
does the thin long one go in the center hole on the dizzy side?or the exhaust side?
ive done an extensive search and have read conflicting info as to the side it goes on.
just wanna make sure it was done right the first time.

the way i always remember is that the reason its thin is for oil to go past it so it goes to the side the oil pump is on.
