guys i need a pair of twin hitachis of an a series or a rebuild kit for a pair of round top hitacihis early datsun roadsters also use the same carbs

cheers conehead also are any of the parts interchangeable between the flat tops and the round tops?

This is an interesting question, have a look
on needle and seats for markings etc, i'll
post a pic of the ones in my square top kit

the car isnt here at the moment its up at the mechanics at the moment and he is going to pull them apart and see what he can do about it

YES i think i may have found th rebuild kits they are for the 1965 datsun roadster which use THE SAME or very close carb yay

so these will work with the flat tops yeah?
im having issues with the bowl overflowing, im thinking it has something to do with the little float valve.

Yeah this kit is suppose to suit the later
flat tops. I haven't pulled mine apart yet to
check though. After Brents prompting the
kits on ebay seem to be the same thing.
(L series and A series aparently)
