H190 vs hilux diffs

been looking in wiki H190 looks a lot like a hilux diff. i was sure toyota made thier own. H190 made by hitachi. can someone confirm they are a different diff as an alloy carrier for my hilux diff would be cool

I didn't think they looked that much alike but I tell ya the ones from older Mitsubishi express vans do look like H190's.

What size crownwheel do the H190s have?

Hiluxs have 8". Doubt they are the same thing. Their both Banjo type diffs so it would be a little hard to see differences.

h190 can handle 285ftlb of torque and gear ring is a 190 so 7 something inches

H190 crown wheel is close enough to 7.5 inches. No way carriers are interchangable with Hi-lux. As best as i can remember the Express/2.4 litre 2wd Triton/pajero io/plus a few others diff, is 185mm crownwheel. Carriers have different bolt pattern onto housing too.

9000 rpm and sidestep it
