Time, and trial and error. The boot lids from my experience dont fit up that well in terms of equal gaps. I have equal gap at the top and sides, but you end up with slight overhang at the bottom.

The doors are a pain in the butt, and are easiest to do without the rubbers installed. Then fit the door rubbers and adjust the latch plate to suit. With firm rubber it takes a while to settle nice and for the doors to shut flat with the rear quarters.
