1 it will take a week to make the mould and a week to let the mould cure on the bonnet so therse no shrinkage .
I also aquired some 1200 guard moulds and a lower front panel .........
im also a permanent queenslander now as we just brought a house in ipswich

I would be interested in a 1000 bonnet,
but would want one that could be hinged
and have standard catch etc. Is this why you
would "double skin" so it's strong enough for this??

ok did a estimate today for a fibreglass bonnet and they should be around the $400 mark
carbonfibre bonnets will also be availabe for around the $600 mark
I havent worked out the weight factor yet .
