Anythings possible mate most 4 cylinder motors of any sort will fit in a 1200 engine bay with slight modification.correct me if im wrong but is a sd22 a diesel motor?

Yes is a diesel engine! The thing is that i found one at great price with transmittion included!

If it's a van engine, the gearbox will have external linkages, rather than a gear stick. Unless you are desperate to have a 120y diesel, I wouldn't bother with such a conversion. It would make the car into a gutless front heavy pig.
