Dyno run at last!

At long last I got my 1200 onto a dyno. I was piggy backing on a silvia club dyno day.

She made 157.1Nm@4434rpm, and 92.4kw@6315rpm.
Thats 123.86hp. Not bad for a backyard special.

good going Bart! that is extremely good for a back hard special! are you going to try and squeeze more horse power out of the beast? How much boost did you run?

I think it's runing a bit over 7psi, but my boost gauge belongs in the rubbish bin. I'll need to get a better one from somewhere, and find out for sure sometime.

I was trying to shoot for about 5psi boost but even after installing a vacuum Blow Off Valve off of a turbo setup, I'm still running 10psi. Before the Blow Off Valve I watched the psi climb to 20. I shut it down quickly. No more of that.
As soon as I figure out my intake through the hood, I'll be ready for a dyno.
