hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows if the bluebirds came out with LSD's in either the TRX models or wagons? i was told that the bluebirds have H165 and H190 diffs, which one is stronger?

An H190 has a crown wheel diameter of 190mm but an H165 only has a crown wheel diameter of 165mm so the H190 will be stronger.

The H190's are stronger - and are a pretty strong diff all round.

None of the australian bluebirds had LSD's whatsoever but nissan definitely made them for the H190 diff for race applications etc.

About 2 years ago people organised a group buy of torsen LSD centers on here and on 910bluebird.com. He made them for the H165's and H190's and they turned out to be quite a good bit of gear.

The word on the street was that they were actually coming out of ppg.

So LSD's are around for both bluebird diff variants but they will be hard to find and pricey!

From memory, the 5-speed and auto bluebird models came out with the H165 and the 4-speed models were the one that the H190 came out in. Haven't heard of the coming out with a factory with lsd but there is a member on this forum that goes by the name of TOPGEAR, he was building lsd's to suit H165 and H190 haven't heard about them in a while.

The H190's came in all series 3 910 bluebirds.

HERE'S THE THREAD THAT HAS THE LIST OF PEOPLE WANTING LSD'S send him a PM and ask him to add you to the list, i don't think he has actually built them yet, its a work in progress.

H165 out of a ute is basically the same as the bluebird diff exept the bluey diff is wider.
