Hi guys
There are still some top blokes out there.
I was contacted by a newer member of our forum in my quest to find a vanette diff.
He thought there may be a diff at his local pick a part.Next day he went down there confirmed it was what I wanted ,pulled it out ,paid for it ,packed it and posted it COD to me. I suggested he add the cost of a box of christmas cheer for his troubles (which he didn't).
So Jmac thankyou very much for going out of your way and helping me out. There are some scratchies in the mail.
Also bought another diff off Ian In Geraldton who was also an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Thanks guys after hearing so many other horror stories it's great to have pleasant dealings with the both of you.
Cheers
Bob

Hi Geoff
We do club level stuff in our ute and the 4.875 ratio works out perfect for Winton.Pulls really well in3rd and 4th and ends up at 7000rpm (155kph) at end of straight.
Cheers
Bob

Good on you Jmac It's good to hear about pleasant trades/deals rather than the usual whingeing about getting screwed over....

That's a pretty top effort- well done. I think generally the good transactions outweigh the bad but going beyond the call of duty is worthy of praise. :)

Zigzag I wasn't making reference to Rev or anyone on here but there always seems to be someone getting screwed over. I simply thought it a breath of fresh air to hear the opposite, because by and large our members are good. I haven't had a single bad experience in the 4 or so years i've been on here!
