R31skyline/pintara diff?

anyone can you tell me whats the different's between Skyline R31 and Pintara RWD diff's

is it just the axle's and centre?

Same diff mate only difference is pintara had higher 4.11 diff ratio and some of the skyline diffs were factory lsd

sorry champ not totally correct,

as just been informed from "diff and driveline" here in dubbo, that the pintara splines are very different, out side the same, m

y question is answered

from what ive heard the pintara are 25 spline axles and the skyline are 28spline
havent checked it out myself but ive been told that from a few people

Pintara are a poor skyline CA20 4 cylinder therefore cheaper and weaker everything. Some still have discs on the rear that will fit ute diff with slight mods, Just found that out off PIGDOG the walking talking mods and datsun encyclopedia.

yer pintara are 25 spline with 4.11s and the skyline are bigger axle with 28 spline with 3.9s heaps better and maddat make them for datsun 1200 bolt up for around $2500

Reson i was asking is i could have got my hands on a pitara diff and i was making sure if i can use it, as i snaped my axle,

all good fella's pickup r31 diff today back on the road again.....

yepp they are interchangable housings etc, skyline i thought come out with 3.7's as well. my diff is made up from a pintara housing, r31 axles, 4.11 from the pintara and VN V8 lsd hemi.
