On my 120y I managed to get 12" wheels to fit over 200b brakes with no rubbing, but the con was it took 12mm of spacing. I did this using two spacers plates per front wheel which is as dodgy as hell. One day I'll go around a corner and the wheel studs will snap.

I've been told to get 13"s but I want the standard wheel. I have it lowered and with 14"s I get wheel arch rub, and with 13"s I have to have skinny tires as sometimes when cornering at higher speeds it will still rub. I found some nice straight guards and the whole car is painted so im not going to modify any guards and folding up the wheel arch lip weakens the whole guard, when people lean on it it can bend it.

I can get 12" rims with 185 tires no rubbing even around corners. My problem is I need some proper spacers plates manufactured that will locate the wheel and be in one piece as opposed to my two generic ones per wheel that just sit there not even central.

Is anyone out there able to makes these and how much would it cost? I have two 120y's and what to do them both.

try here but needing that much spacing would make it not safe or practical for 200b set up.

I am using xp falcon 13 x 5 inch rstock rims and they clear no issues or spacers and totally legal too.

I feel that you would either need to lip the guards and tell people not to lean on the car, or use 165 65 13 on 3 inch rims.

These are similar problems as i have suffed with wheel offset and scubbing on my front end and 155 70 13 on front and 165 65 13 on rear have been great. even 165 65 13 on front is great.

Hello. Yes they are 200b brakes on late stanza strut towers. The ball joint was changed to make it suit the 120y k mount. The main issue is rubbing when entering my own drive way, which i do every day. Only rubs on a sharp turn, the corner of the tyre catches the guard. I have put longer studs on, thats how I got the spacers to fit.

I currently has 155 13's on it with no spacers, as my machanic said to take them off. As you say they work. How much did you lower your car unfamilia?

well my trolley jack is 110mm of the ground

im looking for a 100mm one to make sure im legal always hahahahahaha, rear is still stock but saggy.

get 14" wheels and some 185/55's

14" is period correct and a bit more width will drastically improve the handling..

how much are 185 55 14 and where from?
