Im after a working temperature sender from an A12... Prefer one in Brisbane so I can pick it up, but will pay for post if needed.

the temp sender p/n is tts031 tridon brand
are the same as 180b and 200b & j series sunnys are different tts036 hope this helps

Right. They don't go bad very often, so sourcing one from the wreckers is not a bad idea. $5 instead of $25. Many of the '70s Datsuns use the same sender.

The recession is the least of my worries at the moment... My ute over heated on sunday so the damage costs is going to add up. And i bought a new sender today, ill explain what i am planning to do. I have a ca18det in the ute which still has the nissan sender but i still have the datsun temp guage, so if i am to change the sender over to the datsun it should work at the right temp ranges yeah?? And here is a pic of the one i bought (the packet had been previously opened so i have no idea really if it the correct one or not) can any one help out and sorry about the crappy quality of the pic
