given to me in bits w/ blown head gasket and broken rings
work for Southside Engine Centre so had a spare block w/ good pistons (second hand)
so its really only a reringer, quick lick in the sunnen hone and service head(but all checked and measured etc.)
cost so far gaskets, belt, bearing shells, idler bearings $400? so my cost would be nothing like cost to someone else. parts at trade and no labour costs
CA's came out in 89 so they are 20 years old now. even a good runner in a front cut will need work soon. graphite head gaskets are a weak link
