There is alot of pod filters out there, most of them are for show, you know the bling factor, your local spare parts place should have about a thousand! all colours and shapes! a good quaility like a K&N pod filter should be fine.

You're a Dato master now Burt! congrats!!!

If you want a paper type filter pod, then you cant go past K&N, If you want a foam type pod, then I would recomend 'uni-filter"

I have used k&n numerous times and these are a cotton style filter which I would recomend.

Brought a supercheap copy on k&n for the datto as it only $20 and use the k&n cleaning and oil product on it. Did not pay the extra $$$ as this car sees minimal use.

I bought the big K&N oval pod for around 200$, only because of swirl and airflow meter problems using round ones.
I reckon its overpriced and cleaning it is time consuming, foam type best for keeping fine crap out, breathing well and lot cheaper i reckon. unifilter has good rep.

I run the Foam Filter socks from Unifilter.

Uniflow/Unifilter

As for pod filters K & N take it. Although I haven't tried any other brands.

Have a browse Uniflow might make the solid pod types too.

EDIT: Yes they do! They call them the straight pod and Angled Pod. I would go with unifilter. Easier to clean, cheaper.

Would recommend paper one over foam one.

Thanks guys, looks like K&N seems to be your preferance,it's not overly important what size the inlet is?This is a whole new learning experiance.

And yeah, that Dattomaster thing crept up on me
