Coupe and sedan ones are definitely different. I have a coupe one from nissan at home someplace from back when my old man had a coupe. Not sure what side it's for though.

Are you sure you got Coupe ones?

the guy at the shop reckons they were coupe because i asked him about 4 times cause i knew they were different and didnt want sedan or ute ones . he said he has never had a problem before selling them to anyone but my ones did not seal on the metalchannel at the lower part of the glass . it was about 3 to 4mm to short . i even sent my old ones down to him so he could match them up but no go he said . cant do anything about it

A few years ago I went through this with rare-spares as I got the first set they ever made. And the metal at the bottom of the quarter is as you say 4 mm short of where it should be on the rubber. At the time they said the demand of these does not justify modifying their mould and doing them correctly.

Basically the coupe is unique and I can understand their point of view and they are better than my originals but do whistle at above 90 kph.

So you need both sides yeah?

I'll let you know which one I have at home on the weekend most likely.

It's still in the plastic, and more handy to someone with a coupe ..which isn't me

I got nissan ones for my sedan..and they still whistle ....It ain't the seals More like airflow issue in the vents. 1200s really weren't designed to cruise at 110kmh.

yes i am after both sides . im sending my original ones in to the shop today for them to see the difference and see if they can make new ones better . see how they go i guess . the ones i had though would leak water very badly because where the metal shaft goes down through the rubber i could see straight through it .

the first set i got was from scotts old auto rubber and when things didnt fit he was very rude and didnt want to help at all . would not give a complete refund either which i think is wrong because the parts supplied were incorrect but anyway i am now discussing it with spectrum and they actually supplied scotts old auto rubber the seals in the first place so they now have my old ones and are going to see if they can make some new ones from my originals .
looks like spectrum actually try and help their customers which is great .
