gday guys im just wondering if anyone know what the exact readings for the stock 1200 coupe tempreture guage is, as they only have lines to indicate hot or cold, so im just seeing is anyone has done a comparison or if the factory has the numbers???

all i know is my rotor runs just of 1/4 when warmed up then mabey 1mm over half after a run and a few good squirts. i know i need to get a proper guage but it wont be for a month or so. i just warm the car up everyday in prep to getting my licence back on march 4th :D:D:D:D:D

you can get a mechanical gauge for like 30-40 bucks ... different gauges give different readings so get an aftermarket one and do the check yourself on your car and compare the two

As stated about different guages will give different readings... In my ute I have a autometer temp guage (celcius) and also the standard datto guage, and when the datto guage is about half way its a tad over 80 degrees. Now to get an acurate reading prob best to get a instrument place to calibrate it and sort it out... But you still wont know what temp it is acutally running at, get an electric guage and get it in also
