Have a CA18DET in a 1200 coupe, which you are welcome to come and look at. Registered last week and fully engineered.

If I done it again would use Maddat crossmember. I made my own but ran into issues as a result. My engine sits further forward than Mad Crossmember engine placement. Meant had issues with clutch slave/steering arm clearance. Limited room for radiator and because my engine sits lower I needed to make custom sump

Datokid, did you not ask this before?

The CA is by far the easiest and unless you want to challenge the WA Transport Dept a SR20DET Can not be registered in WA.

A CA Turbo will be much more powerfull than a non turbo sr20.

There are heaps of specs on the net for the various sr20 engines and the ca engines. Plus alot of info in the wiki.
