I dropped off my sierra flywheel to DUNCAN FOSTER to have it lightened and balanced. I was told it was going to be a few days and 170 to 180 dollars. Knowing suzi-tech could do it for around 250 I was thinking I should just take it to them but deceided to take it to DUNCAN FOSTER, cheaper and closer. Whem I dropped it off I had to tell them where I wanted the wieght taken from. At this stage I already wanted to take my Flywheel and take it to suzi-tech. I rang a few days later and no progress. I rang a week later and they sent it to another shop to get done, alarm bells went off. I rang 2 weeks later and the guy on the phone said it was ready, I asked him "has it been balanced"? He said "NO, I didnt know it had to be balanced". I said "wat da fck am I going to do with a lightned flywheel that hasn't been balanced". He said "oh". I ring almost 3 weeks later and still not done, its over at morebank getting balanced. They need to make something to fit the machine, I said "whateva how much is it going to be"? He then told me $400, I said to him that "you more than doubled the qoute and im not paying". He had no real answer just that he told me it would be a time thing. I said "FCKING TIME THING, YOU HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 AND A HALF WEEKS LONGER THAN YOU SAID YOU WOULD" and he hung up because he didnt like my attitude. Well I dont like there fcking sht workmanship and servivce, they couldnt even do the job. DUNCAN FOSTER, SHT SERVICE

Get another flywheel from redlinegti.com or auszookers.com at worst buy a custom one should be cheaper in the end.
call them again and tell them consumer affairs will be on their butt that will get them worried at least.

I rang suzi-tech and they are going to sell me a flywheel, lightened to the correct wieght so I can still have a decent tourqe curve, machined and balanced for $300. Pete at suzi-tech is really cool, always wants help even with datsun stuff. Not to mention he is the only person I could find to make my dizzy right angle drive.Thats a saving of $100 and I had to buy the flywheel. More importantly I can tell DUNCAN FOSTER to shove it. I just realized that because they sent the job out, they will still have to pay to have it lightened. Cant wait till he rings me chasing up money.
