Been a crazy few weeks; being back at uni, getting a house, buying a car, sorting out visa's, kindegarten for the boy etc etc.

But it has all finally come together. Many, many thanks to Revhead for organising storage for the Datsun while it was in Melbourne. He is a good man and I refuse to hear anything other. I owe you alot Rev so let me know if you need a hand with anything.

Anyway family first, baby girl finally arrived her name is Datsun ( that's a joke guys lighten up!).

And my second Datsun 1000 2 Door finally arrived (intoxicating it was). This will be going to PNG to join the other one, eventually.

She's a little tacky on the inside but it should look a treat when it is all done. Engine needs to be looked at along with some of the electricals.

For anyone curios it cost me $443 Door to Door delivery from Melbourne.

The gasket is buggered I'd say. She starts and runs but there's evidence of water in the oil (looking in rocker cover, wet exhaust etc).

It's amazingly original. We had a few too many yesterday arvo and one of the girls broke one of the mirrors.

I can put it back together but I'm annoyed (now more than ever).

Engine bay is pretty grubby but it'll come clean.

Yeah it is the original engine.

Delivered from Melbourne to Adelaide only $443 dollars? Sounds like a good deal. Was it a traditional car transport or just a college student on break?

Oh and for a girl's name, you could call the new 1200 'Silvia'. Or 'Sunny'.

It was a company called Auto Logistics. They actually enlisted CEVA to actually move the thing so I probably could have saved a bit more by going straight to CEVA.

I thought it was a great deal. The last time I moved a car from there (it never happened in the end- was another 2 door B10) I was quoted $700 at least. So I'm happy as!
