Common causes:
* partially plugged fuel filter
* bad/worn valve springs
* Incorrect engine timing
* partially blocked air filters

thanks guys,

ddgonzal:i've checked the valve springs and the engine timing..it was ok ,and i ran the carbies w/out airfilters..plugged fuel filter maybe one of the factor..thanks

Rezlo:i'm not sure about the jetting bcoz this carbies is taken out from alfetta 1.6l engine (i've never jetted it)..so probably the jetting is the mainly cause?how to calculate the best jetting for this stock a14?

Gylezy: i've trial and error and playing with the mixture screw and the distributor but the same thing is still happening especially when i try to run the engine in 1st gear..

it is totally ok when idling but worst when i want to drive it..

cheers.
