hi.im luking for a racing gearbox to match my datsun A12gx that i use for 1/4mile.

at the moment im using an A12 4spd bt d inside seems to be worn out.gears are hard to engage.i hv a 5spd dogleg box dt i cn replace,but id be eager to put in a rx7 box bt dnt knw wea i cn gt the bell housing done?

if any1 cud provide information on compatible tranmission and diff.

any ideas of any of the above???/

were abouts are you from mate? In austrailia the only other manual's that you can buy a bellhouseing for are toyota t2's and t3's.

You can use any gearbox for 1970-1983 Datsun Sunny:

1970-1973 B110 (Datsun 1200)
1973-1978 B210 (Datsun 120Y/140Y)
1978-1983 B310 (Datsun Sunny/120Y/140Y/150Y)

Or you can adapt other transmissions. Requires machining.
