Has anyone used and electronic Autometer speedo in an A series gearbox?

As im wondeing if the Hall sensor is appropriate.

ive got an silver pro comp autometer speedo gauge not sure if its electric autometer one but it has an electric km counter in the centre of and it works fine on my four speed might be completly different to yours though ..

Dont know what the thread is on the A series box but any sender which will fit should work fine. Weather it be hall efect, pulse generator etc.

The vdo speedos can be setup to run on any input signal and I would assume the Autometer ones are the same but check the instructions to confirm this.

just found my instructions mine is an electronic metric speedometer autometer gauge and works fine on my a14 and 4 speed gearbox , urs should be fine mate.
