Looking to buy a Datsun 1000 in good running order. B10 2d, B10 4d, KB10, VB10, B20.

I know there is one on ebay. I want one in good running order.


A friend of mine is looking for a good cheap daily driver so I thought it'd be a good chance to attempt a "Datsun" conversion.

Please anyone help out, the poor bugger has the Holden VL bug (which is costing him huge money in repairs and general maintenance).

In my opinion without offence I cant think of nothing worse
than an fal con job or common whore driver going to a datto due
to fuel costs. 99.9 per cent chance they will treat it like
big common cars and always go for something else afterwards.
Id suggest a late 70s or early 80s toyota or an ealy 80s
nissan sunny.
If he wants style and economy these rides are a good stepping
stone to other things. They can be done up as he gets the
modding bug and not ruin a classic car.
Otherwise a stanza or 78-81 celica with on straight LPG could
serve him well for a daily with room and easier to find parts.

I gave a bit of a wave but I don't reckon you saw me. I was in a Black Daewoo with the Missus and kids.

$2500 is way out of the question I was hoping to find something for $600 or so. Cheers for the tip though, is that the one that's been in the TP a few times?
