hey guys as you all know i have brought jordans thou... i have done a sheet load to her from when i got it from jordy. i have got the wiring done. a new starter motor, put pretty much all of the interior in, painted up the engine bay, and am about to get the rubbers for the windows(when i can afford them)

i am wanting to know how to lower the engine with mounts that are brought with minimal fab work because i am no fabricator. it is an a12 in a 1000 coupe so i dont know how to do it. either way she will have to have a turbo scoop to fit any sort of filter onto the standard carby. in the future i will end up buying sidedraphts so that i can put the good bonnet on.

also does anyone know what seats i could put into her as the old ones are very very knackered and i dont have the time to get them reupholstered at all..

i will be getting pics up as soon as possible but atm just wanting to know these things as above. any help is better than no help and it is muchly appreciated.

cheers
joel.

Get some landrover V8 engine mounts, I think there a'bout half an inch lower, and think ya only need to slight open up some holl's. Plus there a'lot tugher. or the MADDAT.com nulothane ones?

and I spode you could elongate the holes on engine mount bracket the bolts to the motor, just dont go to far or the sump will hit, and even if you bolt it up whilst holding it up It would probly slide down with vibrations?

god knows how much room atm it is too dark to measure it.. i will measure it up and see how much room i have. i like the idea of having the land rover ones. i will have to go into veales or somewhere and measure up what i can get.

im doing full custom engine mounts using v8 lancruiser hockey puck style mounts
im gunna cut the sump up and re shape it so theres like 5 mm gap between the sump pan and the crank i will also be moving the engine back about an inch to get it low and far back as possible to aid in better handling and more room everywhere
also the v8 ones i have are circular and 75mm /w 10mm stud
i will take measurement of every plate and also the angles and post them up when im done
