well due to the bloke hitting me in my ute and all the legal fees and crap im going to have to pay ive decided to not pay to get my sedan sprayed to try and save a few grand and run with something that doesnt need painting
so i looked on trading post the other day and seen this old girl, ive pretty much wanted a wagon for years now so i couldnt go past it
it will receive all the running gear from my ute into it whilst retaining as small a rim as possible
ive done abit of a search and didnt really find any answers about what brakes are good enough to stop it once the ca18det is in there but on a 120y strut???
anyway heres the pics of when it was advertised ill get some more pics up abit later
cheers

That 120Y wagon looks good, will make a nice 'sleeper'.

Looks like a great find. The hubbies, venetians and the sun visor set it off. There wouldn't be many 120Y wagons with late model engine conversions, good luck with it!

Yeah sweet as mate good to see another sleeper wagon in the mix. Could just do the s13 1200 strut conversion with H/D springs and the 120y strut tops on them. Arent they basically the same strut ?

well i got all my rebuilt front end and 200b struts with my big brakes on them from the ute ill probably just throw them in but the only problem there is 14in is the smallest rim i can run, not really a problem though
yeah thats another reason why i got the wags never seen one with a ca18det in it, the screamer pipe should surprise a few people

i have the maddat r31 diff and 240k disks up front on my 1200 and my 13x8 wantabees just slide over the brakes , heard some 13's hit the brakes so yer think thats the smallest with out ending up with #OOPS# brakes and going for 12inch wheels, imo is too small plus not any good tyre's in that size ,
looks like a nice lil wags btw much/any rust ?

yeah im not going to go for something that might pull me up ill go for my brake/strut setup if there isnt anything for the 120y strut
as for rust the car was resprayed about 3 years ago, the poaint isnt perfect but its well above average, the only rust is in the back doors and is the size of a pin head

nice find, im running xp falcon 13 inch rims and they clear the 200b brakes easily (well as easy as can be with a 13 inch on them)... food for thought
