Just wondering whats the value on an A10? Id imagine they would be rare but i guess theres no demand, any ideas? Theres one on ebay just looking at it, unknown condition the guy wants a fair bit for it. Can you still get rings and gaskets etc for these? Thanks

rings and gaskets are all pretty much the same as A12s im pretty sure
dont know why you would really go an A10 over a bigger A series except for originality

I'd love to try one out here in the US. Underpowered for a B210 - yes, but might be just the thing for ultimate fuel economy. Driving around with my foot on the floor all the time will lower pumping losses.

I wouldent think its worth much at all unless it was with the 1000 that it came in?

Don't underestimate the humble 988cc 1K motor in the right chassis. They rev like buggery due to thier short stroke big bore ratio but do need to be well balanced due to only having 3 main bearings.
Having said that i would not pay $300 for this engine as this guy wants, other than a quick re build it will need for sure a fuel pump, water pump and the lions share of all the other "hang on" stuff

As for fuel economy not sure there would be any improvement, you would probably have to rev it out just to get any kind of movement. Like that commodore that came out with the 4 cylinder motor for fuel economy, it ended up as bad as the 6 because the engine it wouldn't move the car without giving it some. Bert have you tuned one up before? Im sure theres a lot of interest as to what can be done and the kinda revs we are talking.

If it is a coupe A10, it has flattops and twin-exhaust manifold, would be great parts for an early A12.
