OK, probably a dumb question but is there a correct direction/orientation to install a strut spring in the assembly? When I took them apart I didn't pay any attention to top or bottom up or down, it doesn't really look like there's any difference but thought it was worth asking, hate having to take things apart more then once.

Oh yeah, coupe front struts

it should be flat at the top and have a protruding part of the coil at bottom. this bottom tab locates into the spring perch on the struts.




not an ideal example but on mine one end was not as flat as the other.
