A15 Oil Pump and Water Jacket Question

I inherited an MG Midget body and a Nissan A15 engine. It's all mounted up, but it appears the oil pressure regulator is missing. I'm looking for info or parts to assemble that. The Hayne's 210 book has nothing worthwhile.

I've also noticed there's an approximate 1" hole in the block's left rear water jacket. It appears to be a heater core return line. Can I simply plug this hole?

The hole is the block breather. A tube is pressed into it.

The regulator is in the oil pump. Just a spring really.

Thanks. I figured the oil pump hole is where the missing pressure regulator goes. The little info I have shows a rod, ball bearing, spring and plug. Seems easy enough to assemble, if only I had parts.
Regarding the water jacket "breather", would it be safe to just use a freeze plug to block it off?

I'm stupider than I thought... The pressure regulator is intact, on the side of the pump. The hole I was concerned about is on the lower right, facing the pump. It appears to be nothing more than a tap for an oil pressure gauge (NPT threaded).
