I have been trying to get all of the brake system off of my 1200 and it seems that on the front disks the shortest steering rod blocks the lower bolt to the caliper. Does anyone know how to get them off?!?!

I had the same problem this week, i unscrew the two bolts in the bottom that holds the lower ball joint and push it down. then you can manage to acess the screw!
