I have swapped the sunny's A12 for an A15 and 32/36 weber.
On the firewall I now have 2 unused connections(1/4" pipe). I think they are a fuel tank vent.
With the original carby gone what should I do with them?

Use them -- they are not dependent on the carburetor.

1. Fuel tank vent
2. Fuel return line

You can cap the return line. But the tank vent should go to either a flow-valve or to a carbon cannister like the newer Aussie utes have.

I seem to remember that one went to the air cleaner & the other went to the rear pipe coming out of the block. If you want to use them, the engine pipe is an interference fit into the block, with a small set of stilsons (plumber's wrenches) you can remove them, just go gently as they're easy to crush. The aircleaner for the weber should have a small outlet you can connect the other hose to, if not your local auto parts place should have something you can make work, usually brass fittings.
