Carbs are 100 times better but still a bit icky,

They grouped us Marque guys with the historics/modifieds yesterday which gave us a massive field of 28 on our 2.4km track.

Datsun ran a new best of avg 1.22 vs its old 1.25 now that the carbs are not so bad, was the fastest street tyre full street legal (stock suspension) car by 6 seconds and ran mid field with the modifieds in which the fastest car runs a 1.18 obviously on full slicks.

I have made the plan to convert the A15 to 45mm individual throttle bodies, LSD, lower&stiffen the suspension a little and run slicks and drop her into the modifieds.

The way I see it is that Ill be in easy with the front runners of modifieds (slicks are good for 3 seconds on our track)and it wont effect the daily driving of the car at all.

Enjoy the video

Nice driving, good to see it hanging out. I had a big sideways moment today at about 200 kph, but couldn't hold onto it once I hit the marbles.

Odd, its working for me? maybe try again.

I had an offer to buy a Gordini race car which motor I am busy building for a friend/customer, very tempting as it comes with all the spare wheels, spare motor, trailor etc but honestly I think Datsun is where the heart is

The red circle is where they were taping, from the main straight, 1st corner, 2nd, into the S's (where i got her a little side ways) she has the most noticable problems in the blue circle, its a badly banked very high speed corner

This image was before the badly placed light polls they put up
