Anyone know anything about the Nissan Nomad? Do they have any parts suitable for fitment into a 1200 eg motor/trans, brakes ect. All I know is that they were released post C120 Vanette.

They are Z24 motor, this is a taller block than a L20 3/4inch taller actually, but the head is much shorter, probably an easier swap than a L16/18. You'll need to either use the van box with different linkage for the gearstick or use a navara box. L-series box will bolt up but shifter will be at a funny angle.

Is the Z24 crank used to stroke an L20? wha other internal parts do you need to make that work?

Yes, L20 rods, block needs to be clearanced with grinder and bored to 89mm. Z24 pistons cut down as they will be above deck, ka24 pistons can be swapped for different c/r not sure if they are flattop or not.

Here's some nomad disks on my stanza hub on my stanza strut with the nomad calliper. The nomad hub fits on the stanza strut but it puts the disk closer to the face of teh hub which would cause problems for mounting wheels.
