Hey everyone, I have just stripped my coupe back to bare metal and the doors have been repaired pretty rough. So I thought I would try and find a set that where in alright condition. So if anyone has a set of coupe doors they wouldn’t mind parting with can you let me know and then we can work out a price.

Thanks Brent

Hey man not offended at all, thanks for your honest opinion, seems like it would be easier to buy a whole car just for doors. I just wish when people repaired cars they did it correctly the first time not make it worse, as that’s what they have done to the doors on my coupe, now its just making it harder to fix.

I feel your pain. Went through this few years ago with my coupe. The only way to get some is to buy a coupe and wreck it to recover costs.

I brought some second hand and they were worse than mine when I stripped them back. Used my door frames in the end and had them re-skinned. Cant buy coupe door skins so hade some custom made. Dont know if you want to spend that much though.

Hey man if you dont mind me asking how much was the re-skinning? but thats my fear, that i will get another couple and they will be as bad if not worse.

$800 for the two skins and then paid panel beater to fit them, as well didnt want to stuff them up.

The line down the door ended up more defined than original, so put some fill in it to smooth it out. But the end result was well worth it.

Needless to say the car never see's a Coles carpark.
