Ok, so I wanted to know if there were any other options then to add an additive to my fuel to lubricate the parts of the engine. What do you guys use? Or what have you done to your engine as to not have to add an additive?

Thanks.

Fair enough. Thank you. If anyone else is 100% positive, just to confirm it. I always though they needed LRP

i've always used valve guard additive in my stock sedan. Never really thought about it just did it. I'm sure the A12 could live without it.

im with ROconner on this one from what i have read and heard the A10 needed it be but if you have anything above that ULP is fine.
maybe someone can add on this but i heard that if you have A12 A15 etc that premium can actually be bad for it?

Oh, I have used premium with valve lube in every tank since I bought the car. I haven't really had any problems so far.

I heard somewhere that ULP only really took off in Aus in the 80s. I've used lube in every pre 80s car I've owned.

valvesaver gave me so many problems when i was using seemed to leaving some crappy deposit in my tank, cant prove it was that, but havent used it for years and had no fuel line dramas.98 is crap for stockers too, i come to conclusion,95ok 91 seems best for cold start up and low rpm torque
