well i finally got my engine back from lewis engines after a friggen awesome built up.. reccommened this guy to anyone..

it has 40 thou aria's, 270 8.8 tomei cams, adjust cams, chrome backing plate, aftermarket CAS plate, bored out oil galleries, modifiled oil pump, new water pump, big port an polish as you can see :) :) :) hmm lots more to come yet

Hey Mate,

its an aftermarket cas plate, the guy cnc machines them up, also my backing plate there normally black but his cnc machined up chrome ones..

but there not cheap.. but so worth it.. coz 1. your cams are showin an look sexi, 2. on the dyno you save hrs

well im going for over 300rwkw with a gt3037 an screamer on bout 23psi

and after i fit the 100hp NOS hit, going for over 400rwkw

you can also just cut up the stock cam cover

so whats a ball park figure of the cost of this engine once its done?

well the rebuilt cost me 5grand, then add the tomei cams that cost 800, an all the injectors an #OOPS#.. prob around 9 -10grand..

yeh i could cut it up.. but thats just gay.. i rather just spend the money make it pretty and easy to work on

Those CAS plates are nice. I expect those CAS plates are best for use during tuning and car shows. I wouldn't drive on the street like that unless you are prepared to watch the headwork go up in smoke when a rock cuts the timing belt.

Anyone heard of this actually happening? Seems logical?

I have a similar setup on mine, but I'm o-ringed and running solid lifters @ 9.25mm lift.
Mine also still needs a decent tune by someone who doesn't make excuses.

Maybe one day I'll get the time... In the meantime..at least I haven't sold out.
