I am having a hard time finding any information so if you know could you please get back to me. Either on the chat or my e-mail address is leighbrereton@internode.on.net cheers.

The L20b is the taller of the L series being a little harder to cram in there you need to knotch out the cross member make new mounts or transfer ones off say a stanza cross member. Also need to modify the sump to give more clearance. Many members have done L series conversion's successfully. we are doing the finishing touches on an L16 conversion to 1200 sedan. See the project builds section under Meet Mr Hanky. Will be adding a heap more info etc to the wiki once done and driving. Oh yeah look in the wiki its over to the left in the main menu.

Cheers mate that has been helpfull I would like to see any photos you have about your upgrade they may be of some use to me. I have just found out that the motor I am getting has a L20 block with a L18 head on it so I am not sure if the height thing will be an issue or not. Will keep people posted on my progress.

will be the same as a l20, the block is whats taller on the l20 compared to an l16 or l18.
same as a12 to a14/15, the height difference is in the block (i assume for the increased length of the stroke and increase in capacity)
