hey has anyone takin there rear quarters off?how and did they make a mess.just grind them out?

use a 1/4 drill bit... rub the spot welds with sand paper to make them easily seen.
then drill the out the first layer (only the weld) leaving the inner behind.
use a screw driver or chisel to remove the pannel, i did all pannels like this, it took forever but eas way less work in the end.

buy a spot weld drill bit, makes it so much easier than a drill bit, it will remove only the top layer and leave the underneath layer of metal relativly unscathed.
and you wont have to prise the panel off with a screwdriver as it totally removes the spot weld.

ohh yeah my bad forgot to say you need a special drill bit, i make my own by sharpening it a different way, would take a pic and show you but they arnt here at home sorry mate!
i no you can buy them specialy tho!
