hey guys just after a reputable pace to get my 31 diff shortened, (around brisbane) rang one place yesterday and he said $1800, does that sound expensive? thanks, justin.

Cheaper than the 2400 I got quoted here in Perth
And thats with me supplying the housing , 4:11 gears etc

It all depends on what the $1800 is getting you... I paid $2200 for the diff, getting it shortened, with a second hand LSD, new mounts welded on and new u bolt and shock plates. Basically ready to put in except the brakes, I had to re-do them all my self

bring a r31 diff and a datto diff to him, he shortens the diff axels and makes the mounts to suit the leafs

so by the time u buy the r31 diff and recon the center n bearing then the new brakes and shorten it is around the same price has a maddat diff

crikey i had mine done in dubbo nsw shorten plus axle replined $660 ayear back
for my 1200ute
