yesterday i bolted up a single sidey dellorto to a lynx crossover manifold meant to be for a series.

I go to put it on the head and notice that the original manifold is bolted onto 2 studs from the head at the front and 2 at the back on top for a start. the lynx manifold has only 1 hole on each side.

I havent bothered to take the old one off to even try and line it up.

either i am missing something or the part is totally wrong. It is stamped D1200 anyone know?

so your head has a stud for each inlet port? and the manifold only has a hole for one stud, which would be between the 2 port?

pigdog, thats what it looks like.
andyroo i have an 12 head on a a14 using the old carb and manifold, so the studs are the same.

I might try putting the new manifold on the old head.

sorry no pics, never been able to get them to work on here.

the manifold you have will fit an a12 but with the 6 bolt pattern and you have the 8 bolt pattern like whats on the a14 and a15
