got a letter today telling me that the ute has been without rego for more than 90 days and that the plates have to be returned or seek an exemption!

Why?

whats a good exemption?

any help? cheers

its so that the plates arent used in any illegal activitys i.e. sppeding, getaway cars etc

just call up and tell them you are repairing the car

I got this same letter when my ute was off the road and i just ignored it, reregestered it last week 4 the first time in 18months no questions asked
