How easy to Remove Temp Sending Unit from A series ?

Hi Guys

Can any one tel me is it possible to replace my Temp Sending Unit from A 12 engine by my self or do i need to take it to the Mechanic ?

It is very easy. Use a six-point socket, a deep one and simply remove it.

It is the one with yellow wire

I'm sitting with a head at home that the heat sending unit is jammed, I have tried everything, next step will be to take a drill to it.

have you tried to tighten it a little first. Try a breaker bar.

I got the nut out that hold it in place, but it is the physical unit it self that is stuck, probably from all the years of dirt and rust.

What about vice grips, tap it in all directions and wiggle it out. You will need to replace it afterwards.

I've seen tight ones, but so far they always came out with a bit of work.
