Hey all,

Thought I would introduce myself, my names Cameron and I recently became interested in Datsun B110s. My car background is all Mk1 VW Golfs but I have fond memories of my mums 1979 Sunny that she traded in on a new car in 1998.

I am on the Gold Coast and am looking at buying a B110 Coupe over the next few months. My plans are to restore the car and modify it in a old school japanese fashion (think BProjects style).

Looking forward to learning a lot about the B110.

Cheers

Cam

Thanks mate.

May I ask, did you find your 2 door sedan locally or is it an import? Sorry, I don't know too much yet.

Cheers

Should also say, I would take a sedan if I could not find a good Coupe.

Thanks Bert, I will definitely need some help.

I am thinking about going to dr datto tomorrow to see if he has any B110 Coupes or knows of any for sale.

Are they few and far between on the Gold Coast? So far it seems they are all in Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth. Also, what sort of money would I be looking at for a stock Coupe in ok condition, not mint but not dying of rust either?

Cheers

Cam

Hi cam and welcome, I would hold out for a coupe if i was you, they do come up now and then, maybe it would be worth the transport to buy an interstate one if it goes for a good deal and someone local checks it out.

...well I must admit fuel system a little easier in a sedan - not need to mount it all under the car..
