Hey! I have a VDO 5" tach that I want to mount into the orginal tacho hole. I'm sure someone has done it.
How should I mount the thing to have it sit in cleanly? I'm trying to keep it as clean as posible.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers
Tom.

stock guages are 3 3/8th ish i think so a 5 inch tacho wont fit all that well.

my auto meter one just pushed straight into the hole where the stock tacho was...doesnt sit flush like the other guages but it holds there.
if you want a better instal you should realy go for a smaller guage
