Hi ROConnor

Do you mean it is connected to Temp Sender in the engine ?
i have heard that mechanical pump can be fixed to an radiator hose with a T connector , has any one done same setup like that ? Most of the Heavy duty vehicles use that method for mechanical gauge

Thanks

i use the t peice method and had the alloy plate tapped to match the thread of the sensor. bad thing is i keep snapping the senr wires due to the position of the t peice.

Sumith, you can remove the electric sender, and then screw in the mechanical guage line. It's that easy.

Removing the head is not required. Use vice-grips and twist it out. I have had to do this only many A12 engines.

Or use an easy out.

i found they didnt, thats why used the t peice option in the top hose, that way i run both temp guages too.

Yes, you need to obtain the appropriate plumbing fittings.
